Legal Homework Rights: What’s the Limit on Homework.
Are there any markets that are illegal by the government? Such markets where buying and selling of a particular good or service are banned. If there is such a market, how does it affect consumer and producer surplus?
In the USA buying and selling of human organs is illegal. Those who need organs cannot buy organs from the market and those who donate organs cannot sell their organs. We also know that lot more people are waiting for organs than the number of human organs available. Draw this situation in a diagram (i.e., draw the supply and demand curves for human organs). Now assume that donors cannot sell.
Selling on value, not price, involves a balance of confidence, personal rapport, and doing your homework, and it's become more difficult as technology gives consumers greater access to price.
Another way people are working to end poaching is by trying to decrease demand for illegal wildlife and wildlife parts. If no one's buying the products, there will be no need to kill the animals.
Likewise, illegal hunters have threatened the Bengal tiger of India and the gorilla of central Africa with extinction. River poaching has also been a problem in some countries. Illegal fishers have reduced the stocks of fish in many areas. Poaching has prompted governments and wildlife organizations throughout the world to take action.
Selling a home can be tricky at the best of times, and despite the general consensus that a lack of housing supply is the main cause of today’s housing crisis, it doesn’t necessarily mean all houses sell easily. If you have had problems finding a buyer for your house then take time to consider the following factors and their possible remedies.
Certainly I agree that many homework problems are interesting (and generally the good exercises are). I personally wouldn't mind my students posting their own exposition of more interesting problems, as long as it's after the assignment's due (and ideally, after they get it back graded, to make sure their work is correct)--in fact I would probably be happy to know they also found these.
