National Right to Life Pro-Life Essay Contest, USA - 2020.
The topic I have chosen to inform you about is a pro-life organization, more specifically it is The National Right to Life. “Protecting Life in America Since 1968.” (i) It is the oldest and grandest base of all pro-life organizations. Founded in the summer of 1968, the main goal has always been to prevent abortion, infanticide, assisted suicide and euthanasia. The goal is accomplished.
After the war, Dr. Walker devoted the remainder of her life to the medical profession and the advancement of women’s rights, including the women’s right to vote, until her death in 1919. In honor of the 100 th anniversary of women’s suffrage, we held a special art and essay contests to honor and celebrate Dr. Walker’s life and legacy.
The national grand prize went to Isabella Madrid, a ninth-grade student at Eastern Mennonite School in Harrisonburg, Virginia, with Hochstetler, Graber Miller and Duncan Wanless of Fresno.
This essay contest will also be utilized towards the 4-H Best All Around Contest held during the County Fair. In addition, we utilize this Essay Contest as practice for the State 4-H Essay Contest.
